What is sling puck
A small gate sits in the middle of a wooden board. You stretch a rubber band and fire your pucks through it into your opponent's half. The first player to clear their own side wins.
Simple to play
- Bring a puck back to the band
- Pull the band back — the deeper the pull, the harder the shot
- Let go. Where you pulled from decides where it goes
Everything runs in real time, so nobody waits for a turn. You shoot, you get shot at, pucks ricochet — and you cannot put it down.
Two modes
- Versus CPU — three levels: easy, normal and hard. You can see the CPU's hand move, so it feels like someone is sitting across from you.
- Two players — put one phone flat on a table, sit facing each other, and the table becomes the board. Multi-touch, so both players drag at once.
Built around the feel
- A physics engine that models the tension of the band: where and how far you pull is the shot
- Friction of pucks sliding on wood, puck-on-puck collisions and rebounds
- Haptic feedback
